The 'Casa do Outeiro' it's a
cosy hotel located in the town of Batalha, where some of our 23 rooms have a
beautiful view over the Monastery Santa Maria da Vitória, recognized by UNESCO
as World Heritage and one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.
Stay hosted in our house, is to experience an informal hotel environment, where
the attendance is made by us, owners; is to feel in each corner a personal
touch, thinking about who visits us; is to share the taste for painting in
every single paint; the taste for art in every unique piece of handicraft; the
taste for our jams, liquors, homemade cake on breakfast. Al this is made by us…
and a lot more.
The location of our hotel allows you, apart from enjoying the view, to find a
few meters the monastery and its surrounding plazas, the main church,
restaurants, coffee shops, as well as some regional small shops in town, and
its own services. All this in a short walking distance, from the hotel, not
needing to use your car to circulate in the village.
Most of our rooms have balcony, some with view to the monastery and others with view to the
swimming-pool or garden and mountain; private bathroom; hairdryer; personal
hygiene items; air conditioner; satellite television; direct dial telephone;
minibar; coffee and tea facilities and free internet access.
One of the rooms is equipped for guests with limited mobility.
We also have private
parking; outdoor swimming pool; room with pool table; kids place; garden; internet space and reading room; living room with
fireplace, board games and honesty bar; and the room where we serve breakfast with view
to the swimming pool, where you can taste our jams and homemade cakes produced
in the hotel.
All this, included in your stay.
And because you are
going to love our homemade jams and liquors, we give you the opportunity to
take them home, as well as other handicraft products and typical of our region,
for sale in our little store.
After all this, why don't
you visit us? We will be glad to receive you in this unique environment,
familiar, special, and off course… the good portuguese way.
