WHO WE ARE

Casa do Outeiro is a unique and cosy family-run boutique hotel, located in the heart of Batalha, where many of the 24 rooms have a beautiful view over the Monastery Santa Maria da Vitória, recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage and one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.

When staying with us, you will experience an authentic and family environment, where you will be welcomed by us, owners, or by our friendly staff. You will feel a personal touch in each corner; our taste for art in every single paint and in each unique piece of handicraft; our home-made jams and baked cakes served for breakfast. All this is made by us… and a lot more.

The central location allows you to enjoy our breathtaking Monastery view... A few steps away you will find the Monastery of Batalha and its surrounding plazas, the main church, restaurants, coffee shops, as well as some regional town shops and services. All this can be found within a short walk from the hotel.

The majority of our rooms have balcony, some with a view to the Monastery of Batalha, others with a view to the swimming-pools or mountain. All rooms have a private shower room / bathroom; hairdryer; personal hygiene items; air conditioning; satellite television; direct dial telephone; minibar; coffee and tea facilities, as well as free internet access. One of the rooms is equipped for guests with limited mobility.

Casa do Outeiro - Arts and Crafts Boutique Hotel has 2 swimming-pools, one of them is indoor and heated, the second pool is outdoor. There are 2 private parking areas, room with pool table and kids room; living room with Honesty Bar and fireplace. We also have a beautiful breakfast room with view to the outdoor swimming pool, where you can taste our homemade jams and cakes. All this is included in your stay.

And because we know that you are going to love our homemade jams, you can purchase it on our small "Arts and Crafts" shop, as well as other handicraft and typical products of our region.
